7 day trips from Prague

I always love escaping the city when traveling, so here are some cool day trips from Prague.

Magical Český Krumlov
The most visited place in the Czech Republic right after Prague, unfortunately, it's very crowded, even in winter when it's freezing there are way too many people. However Český Krumlov is still worth visiting, it's a cozy little town with many beautiful streets and views. It takes about three hours from Prague, easily reachable by bus.

Beautiful Šumava
This beautiful national park is about three hours from Prague, you could spend here way more time than just a single day! However, even in one day, you can enjoy Šumava. We did a walk to Černé jezero and from there to Čertovo jezero, which was just perfect for one day.

Insta cliché Vyhlídka Máj
It takes about half an hour to get to this Czech insta spot. It's a beautiful place, great to relax as long as there are not too many people, but because of its popularity, it's also a bit dirty which kinda destroys the beauty of this place.

German Bastei
This place is about two hours from Prague and even though there are many people it's worth visiting. Also when you leave the main path with the viewpoints it gets much better and you can walk in the forests for hours.

Is this color even real?! Lom Homolák
This place that would be perfect for hot summer days is about forty minutes from Prague.

Fairytale feeling at Karlštejn
This castle is about half an hour from Prague. I've never been inside because I'm not really the kind of person that is interested in the interior, but walking nearby or just going to chill on the meadow with this view is pretty cool.

Czech insta cliché no.1, Velká Amerika
In the near of Karlštejn you can find the insta cliché number one in the Czech Republic, the so-called Czech Grand Canyon. It's exactly as amazing as it looks in the pics.

Have you been to any of these places?
